1. Me: Is that the semblance of a muscle that I detect in the mirror? 😲
Also me: *celebrates with Lay's Sour Cream and Onion Chips* 😎
  2. I learned how to do lunges. I know it's a simple move, but I've been oddly proud since. I'll probably become insufurabbly arrogant when I learn to do an actual pushup.
  3. Ways I get inspired when in a slump...
to cook I read an entry of The Kamogawa Food Detectives or buy a new ingredient...
to draw I look at art books and video tutorials...
for house chores I watch videos of Korean housewives that have a penchant for beige decor...
to try new workouts videos of advanced bodyweight exercises...
for gaming I play a little Tetris, Solitaire, or Brain Age Academy...
for reading I start either manga, a short story, mystery or comic book...
for writing (and most things) I simply wait...
  4. As probably apparent in my emo writing, I have been feeling blue for the past month. But I heard a song and it made me smile the other day. I even felt the need to dance to it. I think the sun will rise soon for me. Sometimes the only way through the inexplicable (or explicable) blues is to just let them be. No matter how deep the blue is, the sun does always seems to rise again in the end. It's just a question of remembering that it will. I think that's the hardest part.
  5. I finally started my Grimoire page. I think that I will add a few more recipes, diy projects, and of course some form of delivering quotes but I figured now that the scaffolding is in, now I can take my time refining and playing.
  6. I would hate to be a career advisor nowadays.
  7. People come and go, but I’ve kept every poetry verse anyone has shared with me. Through casual conversation I have collected verses on mistakes, giving life the space to breathe, and the magic a pilot feels whilst flying. I think the happenstance manner that I discover them makes it more precious to me than if I had sought the verses out.
  8. I saw someone talking about A Little Life (not read it but I know about its rep) on YouTube and it reminded me of when I was younger and had less responsibilities and stress. My favorite movie back then was Requiem for a Dream. I can't bear to watch it nowadays though. When life is less hectic, it feels sustainable to fill some of my time with a little sadness. But now I crave joy more than drama.
  9. In the Bizarre House Mysteries, Kiyoshi Shimada makes much ado about the fact that he allows himself one cigarrete a day. I think I have realized how he felt when I reach out for two mini Halloween chocolates per day. They're too sweet! My mouth puckers and tastes bitter after having them. But every day there I am savoring every oversweetened bite.
  10. Current Obsessions: Step to the Mike Show, naps. Also sleep. Lots of it. And hot coffee on cool mornings when I wake up.

I've been feeling a little blue—just a pale, elusive azure. It isn't serious enough for anything darker.
